With the help of local organizations and our champions, Feed SA has raised millions of meals in the fight against hunger over the past 14 years.
Every summer we help fill the 20 million meal food gap to provide food for the thousands of children who lose access to their free or reduced meal program. On top of the already existing need, the past few years families who are part of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) received an extra boost of funds, but that supplemental coverage was cut on March 1st of this year. Thus leaving families facing a bigger food gap, higher inflation prices, and extra costs this upcoming season. This season our Champions, Volunteers and Donors came together to raise the most meals in FEED SA history!
